Less is More - Neutrals

I have been an avid follower of the Less is More blog run by the very talented Chrissie and Mandi for a very  long time. I check the blog regularly and love looking at what everyone has been creating for the weekly challenges.  However, I've never been brave enough to enter a challenge.....until now!!!

Here goes then...my first ever Blog Challenge entry!  The challenge this week is Neutrals and this is what I came up with.  (Just hope I have followed the Ladies's rules correctly!)

I used a Kraft card as my base card and added strips of First Edition patterned paper.  The stamped image (Memento rich cocoa) of two birds in a nest was part of a free stamp set with one of the card mags. This was die cut using a tag die from the X-cut Dielicious Tags/Bookplates set backed onto an oval. The sentiment is a Personal Impressions Paula Pascual design.  Hope you like!

Welcome to "Less is More" Caggy!
I'm SO glad you decided to join in a blog challenge and chose us for your first submission.
This is perfect for our Neutrals challenge and is in fact very much in Mandi's style.
I have some dies with holes in that I had thought of merely as sliders to add to thread or ribbon, but to pop a couple of gems on over the hopes is a really good idea. Thanks for that!
DO JOIN US AGAIN NEXT TIME!
Thanks so much
Chrissie

You may not have realised that you have Word Verification on your blog and we would kindly ask that this is removed as it takes so much time to decipher the dreadful text. If you could remove it we would be really grateful. Instructions on how to do this are on our Help page. Thanks
